2015 Feb Blog

I thought it was about time I penned another blog, thankfully the Tax Return rush is over for another year. However as proactive accountants we urge you to get your paperwork for the coming year’s tax return to us as soon after the 5th of April as possible so you can benefit from our extensive range of tax planning.

It’s hard to believe that we are almost through February. 2 games into the Six nations and looking well on course to achieving the grand slam having comprehensively beat the Italians and scoring quite a straight forward victory in Cardiff against the Welsh. Of course the next match against Ireland could well decide the championship, however I’m sure the French and the Welsh wont wish to be written off this early. However should England win the Six Nations be it grand slam or not it will put them in good stead when we host the world cup this coming September.

Rugby aside, too the football. Walsall are set to grace the Wembley pitch for the first time in their history this year, which is a staggering statistic to think that they have never played there before. Wolves are still longshots but still very much in the hat for promotion back to the premier League, whilst Birmingham had a slight resurgence under Rowett their off the field issues and thread bare squad seem to condemn them to another year in the championship. Whilst in The premier League Aston Villa and WBA are still both fighting to avoid the dreaded drop, and both are also chasing a Wembley appearance themselves, with the pair set to face each other in a blood and thunder FA Cup Quarter Final match next month at Villa Park. Exciting Stuff.

Anyway sport aside I best talk about Accounting, as I’m not a sports blogger… Accountancy 4 Growth are continuously innovating and we are now able to boast an additional service to our clients. We have recently partnered with LSI Brokers which allows us to help our clients find cheaper energy rates. A month into this new partnership we have already helped 5 clients save between 5-20% on their business gas and electricity costs. If you would like to know more about this please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Finally a big good luck to Director Jed who was foolish enough to sign up for the London Marathon this year. There is now a great deal of expectancy to beat the current world record marathon time of 2 hours 2 minutes 57 seconds set in Berlin by Kenyan Runner Dennis Kimetto.  If you would like to sponsor Jed who is running to raise money on behalf of Arthritis care please contact us to find out how you could support an admirable cause and win £250 in the process.
